Self Catering Cottages in West Wales

Yr Hen Dy and Y Bwthyn are two delightful cottages that have been renovated to a very high standard. They have both been awarded 4 stars by the Welsh Tourist Board as well as Walker and Cyclist Welcome awards.

Each cottage has it own garden with a table, parasol, chairs and barbeque. There are bird feeders in each cottage garden so you can watch the birds from the comfort of the cottages. They also both have a porch with space to hang coats and boots which is ideal for walkers.  There is also space for bikes if you are a cyclist.

Both cottages have a Broadband internet connection.

A cot and highchair are available for either cottage by prior arrangement.

Prices of the holiday cottages

£225 (low season winter) £385 (medium session spring and autumn) and £540 (peak summer season). Plus £10 per week per dog.

Yr Hen Dy (The Old House)

This is the old two storey house with the original inglenook fireplace and two bedrooms.

• There is an open plan kitchen, dinning and living room.
• The kitchen has a range of oak units, oven, hob, grill, microwave, toaster fridge with freezer compartment and washer dryer.
• The dining area has a pine table and four chairs.
• The living area has two comfortable leather sofas and television with Freeview, DVD, CD and radio along with a range of books and games.
• The wood burning stove is set in the original inglenook.
• The wooden staircase leads to upstairs.
• There is a double bedroom and twin bedroom each with bedside cabinets, wardrobe and chest of drawers, there are velux windows with views over the countryside.
• The bathroom has a bath with shower, toilet, sink and heated towel rail.
• There is underfloor heating downstairs and radiators upstairs.

Y Bwthyn (The Cottage)

This is a converted barn with the original A frame vaulted ceiling and two bedrooms. 

• There is a large open plan kitchen, dining and living room.
• The kitchen has a range of oak units, oven, hob, grill, microwave, toaster, fridge with freezer compartment and washer/ dryer. 
• The living area has two comfortable leather sofas and television with Freeview, DVD, CD and radio along with a range of books and games.
• The dining area has a large pine table and four chairs.
• The double bedroom has bedside cabinets, wardrobe and dressing table. 
• If you have children, they will enjoy the bunk beds in the old pig sty with a wardrobe/chest of drawers.
• The wet room has a shower, toilet, sink and heated towel rail.
• There is under floor-heating and a wood burning stove in the living room area.

Y Bwthyn has been designed to be disabled friendly. It is all on one level with slate flooring and a wet room. A shower seat and grab rails for the toilet are available by prior arrangement.
