Welcome to Anfodd Holidays in West Wales

Anfodd Holidays is a small holding, run by Judie and John, with sheep, chickens, ducks and organically produced fruit and vegetables. It offers two delightful Self Catering Cottages and a caravan and camping site.

During your stay you are welcome to view the polytunnel, fruit and vegetable beds, compost making and feeding the sheep, chickens and ducks, which is always popular with children visitors. If you visit us in February / March you may have the opportunity to see new born lambs or even one being born.

You can also enjoy free range eggs laid that day and freshly picked fruit and vegetables.

The small holding is on the edge of Blaenwaun village, which has an excellent pub. It is in the heart of South West Wales and is perfectly situated to explore Carmarthenshire, Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion, the National Parks, Preselli Hills, countless beautiful beaches and numerous local attractions.  It is ideal for walkers and cyclists. It is also a good spot for bird watching - Buzzards, Wood Peckers and Red Kites are regular visitors.

The cottages have been renovated to a very high standard, whilst retaining striking features such as beams and exposed stone walls. They are both equally comfortable in summer or winter, each has an individual garden area, under floor-heating and wood burning stove. One of the cottages is designed to be disabled friendly. You can book the cottages for a week or a short break.

Eco friendly

“We believe in being as eco friendly as we can.  When we renovated the cottages we recycled as much as possible. The outside window sills are made of slate from the old pig sty and the inside window sills from reclaimed wood.  We water the vegetable beds using rain water collected in water butts and we do not use any chemicals pesticides or fertilisers. We ask visitors to separate their waste for recycling and composting”.
